The Ozarks' air will be full of live music from a variety of genres this fall, from metalcore to country to jazz. The News-Leader compiled a list of 24 concerts, from arena shows to outdoor festivals, to attend in the coming months.
Slipknot
When: Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Springfield Jazz Festival
When: Saturday, Sept. 24 at noon
Where:Downtown Springfield
The Springfield Jazz Festival celebrates its 11th anniversary this year with two stages, oneat Park Central East and the otherat Park Central Square. Several local and regional jazz musicians and groups are playing throughout the day, with theMSU Jazz Symposium I opening at noon. All music atthese two outdoor stages is free.
American jazz musicianBruce Hornsby is headlining the festival. His concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Gillioz Theatre.

Rockin' Rogersville
When: Saturday, Sept 24 from 3:30-10 p.m.
Where: Constitution Boulevard in Rogersville
The annual outdoor music festival, Rockin' Rogersville, benefits the Community Foundation of Rogersville. This year's lineup is made up of Alec Davis, Psychobilly Cadillac, Machine Gun Symphony and Paralandra. The festival also includes food trucks, a beer garden and fireworks.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 day-of. VIP tickets are available for $100, which include access to VIP tents, provided meals, cash bar, air-conditioned restrooms and access to a reserved area in front of the stage.

Christian County Library Outdoor Concert Series: Maddi Warren
When: Saturday Sept. 24 from 6-7 p.m.
Where: Ozark Community Branch Library at 1005 N. 4th Ave. in Ozark
Maddi Warren, 15, is inspired by her Ozark roots as a singer and songwriter. Her style is described as a "gritty, soulful mountain sound."
Music lovers are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the Christian County Library's Outdoor Concert Series that continues throughout the fall months.

Drug Church
When: Monday, Sept. 26 at 8p.m.
Where: Lindberg's Tavern at 318 Commercial St.
Drug Church, a post-hardcore band from Albany, New York is making its way to Springfield soon. Local support will include Side Eye, Honest Sleep and Daisy Chain.

Garth Brooks

Where: Thunder Ridge Nature Arena at1901 State Hwy 86 in Ridgedale
Garth Brooks is playing a trio of concerts at Big Cedar Lodge's Thunder Ridge Nature Arena later this month. Initially, only one show was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, but after an overwhelming demand, the country artist added two more.
The concerts are in correlation with Bass Pro Shops' 50th anniversary.

Hinder
When: Sunday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: The Riff at1900 W. Sunset St.
Hinder, an American rock band from Oklahoma City, is performing in Springfield in early October. The band formed in 2001 with current membersAustin Winkler, Joe "Blower" Garvey, and Cody Hanson.

Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt

Where:Gillioz Theatre at325 Park Central E.
American signers and songwriters Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt are performing on stage together in early October. Tickets range between $69-124.
A country, rock and blues artist, Lovett is popularly known for his single, "Cowboy Man." Hiatt, a new wave, country and blues musician, has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards throughout his career.

Rockin' Roll Bike and Music Fest
When: Saturday, Oct. 8 from9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Mother's Brewing Company at 215 S. Grant Ave.
The fifth annual Rockin' Roll Bike and Music Fest is Springfield's largest festival of its kind. The festival benefitsMusic Therapy of the Ozarks and the children’s charities of the Price Cutter Charity Championship.
Rides include a 55-mile on road and partial gravel, 40-mile, 20-mile and 3-mile family ride with a rest stop at The Discovery Center for snacks and live music. A post-ride meal will be provided for all riders from 3-6 p.m. and a John Prine Tribute concert will conclude the festival.
Early bird registration, open through Sept. 30, is $40, advance registration is $50 and day-of registration is $55. Kids under 12 years old are $15 and family rates are available for $100, which includes two adults and two children under the age of 18. Registration includes event apparel, two beer tickets, dinner, admission to the concert, complementary Coke products and on-route refreshments.

Katie Pruitt at Ozarks Pridefest
When: Saturday, Oct. 8 at 12:30 p.m.
Where: Park Central Square
American country singer and songwriter Katie Pruitt is headlining Ozarks Pridefest. Pruitt is based in Nashville and her first album, "Expectations" released in 2020.
Ozarks Pridefest is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Kicking off the event is the Equality Parade, starting near the Springfield Municipal Court and concluding at Park Central Square. Throughout the day, attendees may enjoy other live performances, vendorsand informational booths.

Oktoberfest on the Square
When: Saturday, Oct. 8 from 2-10 p.m.
Where: Ozark Square in downtown Ozark
The inaugural Oktoberfest in Ozark kicks off the second weekend in October. The festival will include local beer, live music, a corn hole tournament, pie eating contest, food trucksand5K race. Members Only, a Midwest '80s tribute band, is headlining the festival. Abeer tasting bracelet and commemorative mug is $25.

Attack! Attack!
When: Sunday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m.
Where: The Riff
Attack! Attack! is an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio, formed in 2007. Openers include Across The White Water Tower and Revision, Revised, with local support from Ever Eden and Vulgarity.

Andy & Judy are a Boston-based folk duo who perform original songs, influenced by country, gospel, blues and bluegrass.

The Springfield Art Museum is hosting Marcotte, a husband and wife duo made up ofJordan and Sasha Marcotte. The pair will be performing their latest soul-pop album, following opening act Haier.

The Wallflowers
